I’m often contacted by customers looking for something special to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or retirement gift.
Over the years, I’ve created many personalised textile pieces, but one of my most popular requests is for my 9 birthday squares frames, along with pet portraits.
As a border collie owner myself, I understand just how much these artworks can mean – whether as a joyful keepsake or a treasured memory of a beloved family pet.

Pet Portraits
Here is a selection of commissioned pet portraits created in fabric and stitch.
From start to finish, each piece takes around 8–10 hours to make.
I begin by sketching from the customer’s photograph, before transferring the design to fabric, cutting the key colour shapes, and finishing with my favourite process – freehand machine embroidery!
Prices start from £140 for a 30 x 30 cm framed piece.
Each frame is handmade by my husband in his workshop, and a range of sizes and finishes are available.

Share your photo – For pet portraits, please provide a clear, good-quality photograph.
Confirm details – We’ll agree on size, frame finish, and any personal touches you’d like.
Receive a basic sketch and quote – I’ll confirm the price and timeframe before starting.
Creation time – Each portrait takes around 8–20 hours to complete.
Collection or delivery – Your framed artwork will be carefully packaged and either posted or ready for collection.

Personalised Cards
My personalised cards are handmade using upcycled textile–inspired fabrics and are free-hand machine embroidered.
Each card is unique; you can decide on the design by sending in a photo of something you want to treasure, or choose the wording to go on the card - everything from 'Happy Birthday' to a card for special teacher.

How To Order
Get in touch – here with your idea - this can include hobbies, colours, interests, names, age, or any special details.
I will create a quick initial sketch of your 9-square design for you to approve.
Once the sketch is approved, payment is taken and the final artwork is completed.
Can be framed for an extra cost
Please allow up to 3 weeks from sketch approval to completion, as each card is made entirely by hand.
